Bybit bonus not received: the six reasons and what to do
A missing bonus is the most common support complaint about Bybit's welcome programme, and the cause is almost never a fault on Bybit's side. It is a deadline, a missing code, or a reward that arrived where the user was not looking. This page lists the six causes in the order they happen after registration, so you can find yours in a minute.

1. No referral code at registration
The welcome programme, capped at $30,020, is attached to an account only if a referral link or code was present when the account was created. An account opened from bybit.com directly, or with the code field left blank, has no welcome programme at all: no $100 sign-up bonus, no deposit bonus, no mystery box.
There is no fix after the fact. Support cannot add a code retroactively, and opening a second account under the same identity breaches Bybit's terms and freezes both at verification. If this is your case, the account still works normally and the rewards hub still runs its own promotions; the welcome programme specifically is gone.
2. Identity verification not complete
Bybit releases no reward and allows no withdrawal until identity verification is done. A registered but unverified account can deposit and trade in a limited way, and the rewards it earns sit pending. Complete verification — a government photo ID and a selfie, with the name matching exactly — and pending rewards are released. The KYC guide lists the reasons verifications get rejected.
3. Starter tasks not done
The $100 sign-up bonus is released after registration and the starter tasks Bybit shows in the rewards hub. They are small — verification, a first login to the app, and similar — but they must be completed, and the hub shows which are outstanding. Open the rewards hub, look for the welcome task list, and finish what is unticked.
4. Deadline missed
Two of the early bonuses have hard windows measured from the registration date, not from verification. The 10 USDT deposit bonus needs a deposit of at least 100 USD confirmed within seven days. The 15 USDT trade bonus needs 500 USD of trading volume within thirty days, and the mystery box of up to 1,000 USDT needs 10,000 USD of volume in the same thirty. A deposit on day eight or a first trade on day thirty-one does not qualify, and Bybit does not extend the windows.
The other common miss at this step is the amount: a 90 USD deposit, or a deposit that arrived net of a network fee at 99 USD, is under the threshold. The claim guide puts the steps in the order the deadlines require, for anyone still inside the windows.
5. Reward is in the hub, not the balance
Bybit's welcome rewards are not credited to the trading balance. They appear in the rewards hub as bonuses, coupons and the mystery box, each with its own terms, and several must be claimed manually within a time limit before they can be used. A user checking the wallet for the bonus will not see it; a user checking the rewards hub usually will. Open the hub, check both the available and the claimed tabs, and read each reward's terms, because a claimed bonus that expired unused is the second most common complaint after this one.
6. Restricted region
Bybit does not serve residents of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, the European Economic Area, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and a set of sanctioned territories, and accounts opened from those places do not receive welcome rewards; they typically do not survive verification either. Our link checks your country before it redirects and shows an explanation instead of a sign-up form in those places, precisely so this does not happen. The availability guide explains how the restrictions work.
If none of these applies
Contact Bybit support from inside the account, with the registration date, the deposit transaction ID if the deposit bonus is the issue, and a screenshot of the rewards hub. Do this only from the official app or bybit.com, never from a link in a message: "bonus not received" is a phishing hook, and the official channels guide lists the addresses that are genuinely Bybit's.
Frequently asked questions
- Why did I not get the Bybit sign-up bonus?
- Almost always one of three things — the account was opened without a referral code, identity verification is not complete, or the starter tasks in the rewards hub have not been done. The bonus is released after all three.
- I deposited but the 10 USDT bonus did not appear. Why?
- The deposit must be at least 100 USD and confirmed within seven days of registration, and verification must be complete. A deposit made on day eight, or a 90 USD deposit, does not qualify, and Bybit does not extend the window.
- Can Bybit add the referral code after I registered?
- No. Referral attribution happens once at registration. Support cannot add it, and opening a second account under the same identity gets both frozen.
- Where do the bonuses actually appear?
- In the rewards hub inside your account, not as a balance credit. Each reward there has its own terms, and some need to be claimed manually within a time limit.
