Bybit deposit bonus: the $50 to $30,000 ladder, rung by rung

Updated 2026-09-04

"Bybit deposit bonus" covers two different things, and confusing them is why people deposit and then wonder where the bonus went. There is a small fixed bonus for a first deposit, with a deadline and no trading condition, and there is a five-rung ladder that pays much larger sums for deposits combined with trading volume. This page takes the ladder rung by rung and puts the small bonus in its place.

The first-deposit bonus

Separate from the ladder, and the one most new users actually collect: 10 USDT for a deposit of at least 100 USD confirmed within seven days of registration. No volume condition, no VIP. It appears in the rewards hub once the deposit clears. Miss the seven days and it is gone; the claim guide exists mainly so that people do not.

The ladder

Five rungs. Each needs a deposit and a cumulative trading volume, and both conditions must be met.

The first rung pays $50 for a $500 deposit and $100,000 of trading volume. The second pays $100 for a $3,000 deposit and $250,000 of volume. The third pays $800 for a $50,000 deposit and $1,500,000 of volume. The fourth pays $8,800 for a $125,000 deposit and $50,000,000 of volume, and comes with VIP 1 status. The fifth pays $30,000 for a $250,000 deposit and $150,000,000 of volume, with VIP 4 status. Together with the sign-up bonus and the smaller rewards, the programme is capped at $30,020.

How the volume is counted

Volume is cumulative turnover, not balance. Every fill counts at notional value and a round trip counts twice, so a $3,000 account that trades its full balance once a day generates roughly $6,000 of volume a day and passes $100,000 in a little over two weeks. On derivatives the notional includes leverage, which makes the volume figures arrive faster still. This is why the first rung's $100,000 looks impossible next to a $500 deposit and is in fact reachable for anyone trading actively.

It is also why the ladder should not be chased. Turnover generated to reach a number is trading you would not otherwise do, and it carries market risk far larger than the rung it targets. The rung should arrive as a by-product of trading you were going to do; the position size calculator is for sizing that trading properly.

Which rungs are realistic

The first two rungs are within reach of an active retail trader with a few thousand dollars on the account. The third needs a $50,000 deposit, which is a different kind of account. The fourth and fifth, at $125,000 and $250,000 deposited with tens of millions in volume, are sized for professional desks; the VIP 1 and VIP 4 badges on those rungs confirm a status that volume of that size earns through the normal fee tiers anyway, as the VIP levels guide explains.

Bybit's own claim is that over 80% of users receive $100 or more. Read carefully, that is a statement about the $100 sign-up bonus, which needs no deposit, and not about the ladder.

Form and terms

Ladder rewards arrive in the rewards hub as trading bonuses with their own terms and expiries, not as withdrawable credits. Read the terms of each reward when it appears. The whole programme attaches only to an account registered through a referral link or code; without one at registration there is no ladder, and it cannot be added later. The code on this site is MNTR, and the button applies it.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the Bybit deposit bonus?
It is a ladder — $50 for a $500 deposit and $100k of trading volume, $100 for $3k and $250k, $800 for $50k and $1.5M, $8,800 for $125k and $50M with VIP 1, and $30,000 for $250k and $150M with VIP 4. Each rung needs both the deposit and the volume.
Is there a smaller deposit bonus?
Yes, and it is separate from the ladder — 10 USDT for a first deposit of at least 100 USD within seven days of registration. It has no volume condition.
Do I get the bonus just for depositing?
No. Every ladder rung needs both the deposit and the trading volume. The deposit alone earns only the 10 USDT first-deposit bonus.
Which rung do most people reach?
Bybit's own statement is that over 80% of users receive $100 or more, which describes the sign-up bonus rather than the ladder. The ladder's first two rungs are reachable for an active trader; the top three are sized for professional desks.
