Crypto sign-up bonuses 2026: Bybit, Binance, OKX, Bitget

Updated 2026-09-04

Every large exchange pays new users something for registering through a referral link, and every one of them advertises the ceiling. This page puts four of them side by side using only the figures the exchanges publish on their own pages, verified on the date at the bottom. Where an exchange does not publish a number, the table says so instead of borrowing one from an affiliate site.

The four, at a glance

Bybit: capped at $30,020. Fixed early rewards of a $100 sign-up bonus, 10 USDT for a first deposit of 100 USD within seven days, and 15 USDT for 500 USD of volume within thirty days. One mystery box of up to 1,000 USDT at 10,000 USD of volume. A deposit bonus ladder above that with six-figure deposits at the top.

Binance: capped at $1,100 for the referred friend, as trading-fee rebate vouchers. Up to $100 for a first crypto purchase of $50 or more with fiat, card or P2P, and up to $1,000 once Spot or Convert volume passes $100. Vouchers are activated within 7 days and expire 14 days later, and offset Spot fees only.

OKX: no published amount. The referral rules say rewards "may vary" by campaign and region and appear in the app after registration. What is fixed is the mechanics: advanced verification, deposit and trading tasks within 14 days, and a 7-day lock on the reward before withdrawal.

Bitget: a BTC airdrop worth $9 and a mystery box of up to 500 USDT after a net deposit of at least 200 USDT and a trading task; a further $18 airdrop and a box of up to 1,000 USDT past 100,000 USDT of volume. Tasks count within 15 days.

Guaranteed versus ceiling

The number that decides the comparison is not the cap but the part that is fixed. Bybit's fixed early rewards are $100 plus 25 USDT. Bitget's is a $9 airdrop. Binance's vouchers and both exchanges' mystery boxes are "up to" figures whose actual value is set at distribution, and OKX's is unknown until you register.

On thresholds, Bybit's are the lowest for the fixed rewards (100 USD deposited, 500 USD traded) and its box opens at 10,000 USD of volume. Binance's two tasks are the smallest in absolute terms ($50 bought, $100 traded) but release vouchers rather than fixed sums. Bitget's second tier needs 100,000 USDT of volume, which is out of reach for a modest new account in 15 days.

Form of the reward

None of the four pays withdrawable cash. Bybit's rewards land in the rewards hub as trading bonuses, coupons and the box, each with terms and an expiry. Binance's are fee-rebate vouchers, worth only what you would have paid in Spot fees inside a two-week window. Bitget's airdrop is BTC and its boxes open to vouchers or bonuses. OKX's are whatever the regional campaign pays, locked for 7 days.

The consequence is that a sign-up bonus is worth more to someone who will trade than to someone who will not, on every exchange. The Bybit mystery box guide and the no-deposit bonus guide cover what can be had without trading, which on Bybit is the $100 sign-up bonus and nothing else.

Deadlines

Bybit: 7 days for the deposit bonus, 30 for the trade bonus and box. Binance: no task deadline stated, but vouchers must be activated within 7 days and used within 14. OKX: 14 days for tasks, then a 7-day lock. Bitget: 15 days for tasks.

Availability

All four restrict regions, and none serves the United States. Bybit's list includes Canada, the UK, France, the EEA, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan; the availability guide has it in full, and our button checks your country before redirecting. Binance, OKX and Bitget run separate regional entities and campaigns; check each exchange's own site for your country, since we verify only Bybit here.

Detailed comparisons

Each pair has its own page with the full conditions: Bybit vs Binance, Bybit vs OKX and Bybit vs Bitget. For the Bybit programme itself, the referral code page lists every rung of the ladder and the claim guide puts the deadlines in order.

Frequently asked questions

Which crypto exchange has the biggest sign-up bonus?
By published cap, Bybit at $30,020. By fixed amounts a normal new user actually receives, also Bybit — a $100 sign-up bonus plus 25 USDT in deposit and trade bonuses — against Binance's vouchers, Bitget's $9 airdrop and OKX's unpublished regional reward.
Are any of these bonuses cash?
No. All four pay in trading bonuses, fee-rebate vouchers, airdrops or mystery boxes with their own terms and expiries. None is a withdrawable credit on day one.
Why is there no figure for OKX?
OKX's referral rules say the reward varies by campaign and region and is shown in the app after sign-up. It publishes no global amount, so we do not print one.
Can I collect all four?
Yes, they are separate exchanges. Each programme attaches only to a new account registered through a referral link or code, and only where the exchange serves your country.
